Aindriais Dolan, known in the graffiti world as Pure TFP, was born in Galway, Ireland and relocated to the Bronx, NY at the age of five. Immersed in the golden era of New York City graffiti during the 1970s, he was heavily influenced by the legendary writers of the time—Noc 167, Fuzz 1, P-Nut 1, Mark 198, Tracy 168, and Kit 17 among others. With this early exposure, it wasn’t long before he began tagging and painting his own name across the city, developing a style rooted in the raw, expressive energy of the Bronx streets.

In 1992, Aindriais moved to Europe, living and painting in Holland and Germany, further refining his technique and exhibiting his work in galleries across the continent. He was featured in the acclaimed German graffiti film Whole Train, where he painted trains and murals specifically for the project. Returning to the U.S. in 2005, Pure continues to create and show work internationally, honoring the roots of traditional graffiti while pushing its boundaries in contemporary spaces.
